Kevin Brown was minutes from clocking back into work at Böhlke Veneer on Monday after driving to his Hamilton home for lunch, when he caught a glance of an older woman screaming hysterically on the sidewalk beside him.
"I slowed down and looked behind me and saw a guy was under a car," 25-year-old Brown said. "I slammed on my brakes and pulled into the parking lot."
Brown ran to the man, 23-year-old Nicholas Roark, who was pinned under an old, four-door car near the corner of Dixie Highway and Symmes Road.
"I lifted the wheel well up to get the pressure off of his chest," Brown said. "But I could only do it for 10 seconds."
